RAISE THE ROOF - Adult Popular Singing Group

This is the homepage for "Raise the Roof" adult popular singing group.

Raise the Roof was started, in 2006, by Sue Gardner & Pam Moulpied for adults who enjoy singing and performing popular music.

Since then the group has gone from strength to strength now enjoying a solid line-up of individuals who take their music seriously, if not themselves.

The group perform many different genres of music from musicals to rock, pop to country from the 50’s (and before) to present day, all in the unique Raise the Roof way of solid harmonies and light-hearted presentation, with the help of our Musical Director, Wayne Gardner and Vocal Coach, Carrie Gardner.

The group are always looking for new members who, not only enjoy singing, but also enjoy working as a team to produce the best amateur popular music in the area. Beginners are always welcome and you don’t need to have a fabulous voice.

Our annual performance will be on Friday 22nd June 2012. This is a cabaret evening and soft drinks will be available or you can “Bring-Your-Own” bottle (and glass).

The whole evening will be dedicated to "Songs from Films & TV" with tunes from many of your big & small screen favourites. Look out for "Bond", "Star Trek" and much more.

There will be other themes throughout the evening but "Films & TV" will be the main subject matter.

There will be a raffle in the break with the
proceeds going to a local good cause.

The doors will open at 7pm for a 7:30 start and the evening should finish around 10 to 10:30pm.
